Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Punter League (“Punter League”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a free football‑prediction game at punterleague.gg. By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Punter League is operated by Punter League, based in Singapore. Contact: support@punterleague.gg.

1. What Punter League is — and is not

Punter League is a free game of skill. You predict the result of football matches (home win, draw, or away win). Correct predictions earn points; incorrect ones lose points. Players are ranked on a leaderboard.

It is free to play. No payment is required to register, make predictions, or appear on any leaderboard.
Points have no monetary value. They cannot be bought, sold, transferred, withdrawn, or exchanged for cash, goods, or any other benefit.
No prize of monetary value is awarded for your position on the leaderboard or the accuracy of your predictions.
Punter League is not a betting, wagering, gambling, lottery, or prize‑competition service, and does not accept or facilitate any stake or wager.
Any promotional giveaway we or a sponsor may run will be a free prize draw open to eligible participants, with winners selected at random and not based on prediction performance. Separate rules will apply to any such draw.
If we introduce paid features in future (for example an ad‑free tier or cosmetic items), those payments buy access to features only and do not affect scoring, rankings, or any prize.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use Punter League. By using the site you confirm that you meet this requirement and that your use does not break any law that applies to you.

3. Your account

You may hold one account. Provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and take responsibility for activity under your account.
Your username cannot be changed by you. If you need it changed, contact support@punterleague.gg.
You must verify your email address to lock in predictions.
Choose a username that is not offensive, misleading, or impersonating another person or organisation. We may change or reclaim usernames that break this rule.

4. Fair play

You must not:

create or use more than one account, or let anyone else use your account;
use bots, scripts, automation, or scraping to interact with the site;
attempt to manipulate the leaderboard, the scoring, or another player’s account;
probe, scan, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or its systems;
copy, reverse engineer, or build a competing product from our data or code;
use the site for anything unlawful, or to harass, abuse, or harm others.

We may suspend or close accounts, void predictions, and adjust points where we reasonably believe these Terms have been broken.

5. Fixtures, results and scoring

Fixture and result data is sourced from third parties (currently football‑data.org) and is provided “as is”. It may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong.
Predictions lock at the scheduled kick‑off time of each match and cannot be changed afterwards.
We settle predictions on the full‑time result. We may correct, re‑settle, or void a prediction where the underlying data was wrong, a match was abandoned or rescheduled, or a scoring error occurred. Our scoring decisions are final.

6. Availability and changes

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error‑free, and we may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including the game, the scoring rules, or a season — at any time.

7. Intellectual property

Punter League, its design, and its content (other than data and marks owned by others) belong to us. Football club names and crests are the property of their respective owners. Punter League is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Premier League or any club. You keep ownership of your username but grant us a licence to display it in‑game (for example on the leaderboard and in shared results).

8. Disclaimers and liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law:

we give no warranties of any kind about the site or its data;
we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit, or goodwill;
our total liability to you for any claim connected to the site is limited to SGD 100.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Punter League at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms or if we reasonably need to for legal, security, or operational reasons.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change we will post the updated Terms here and update the “Last updated” date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights you have that cannot be excluded.
